The Kurutoga Dive is part of the Kurutoga collection, produced by Mitsubishhi pencil. "Kurutoga" means "spin" and "sharp" in Japanese. The collection is called this because of the gears inside of the pencil causing it to rotate while you write and sharpening the tip of the lead. This results in an even more consistent width in writing not found in any other pencil. Another feature of this pencil is that it automatically releases lead so that you don't damage the tip of your pencil.
